A day before the Tel Aviv marathon, I sat down with Director of Product Marketing for Tufin, Vig Book. The following day, Vig completed the marathon in just over 3 hrs...impressive stuff, so well done for that!

 

We talked through his journey into Marketing and how his professional career started in a windowless office and vitamin D deficiency!  He shared some amausing stories about the cultural differences between the UK and Israel
 
On 'Management', Vig says... 
"Right now, I'm a amanger of myself and don't manage a team, but I do manage Product Marketing at Tufin (He has managed teams in the past!). Key componenets of management though are adaptability! It's a super fast changing world and as Tufin is a cybersecurity company and given the nature of the industry, it's constantly evolving and changing. You also can't have an ego, or as little an ego as possible, but you really have to suppress that because you maybe working on a large project and an urgent request or need comes in from senior management or a customer and that takes priority. So, being able to self-manage time becomes vitally important too, which is easier said than done"
